Animal Movie Storyline

Animal is a dark action drama about Ranvijay Singh and his troubled relationship with his father Balbir Singh, a wealthy industrialist and pretty much the most powerful man in the country. As a child, Ranvijay always wanted his father’s attention and validation, but his absence ended up turning him into a violent and rebellious young man who resorted to violence and brute force to solve problems, much to Balbir’s dismay, who disapproved of his methods and sent him to boarding school. After returning home as an adult, he found himself unfavorably compared to his estranged brother-in-law and ended up saying something that prompted Balbir to kick him out once again.

Plot

Ranviai “Fai” Singh is the son of Valvaru Singh, a powerful industrialist from Delhi, who owns Showstick Steel, an ethnic steel empire. Fai is an aggressive person with extreme masculine views. Despite the fact that Valvarium is a strict father, Fai idolizes and worships him. Wolverio doesn’t know about his son’s devotion to him due to his busy schedule, which also prevents him from spending time with his family.

One day, Balbir throws out a teenager, Vijay, at a boarding school in the US when Vijay threatens his elder sister’s sand goons with an AK-47. Vijay completes his training and becomes a spacecraft engineer and returns home after many years. During Balbir’s birthday party, Vijay gets into a fight with his brother-in-law Varun, due to which Balbir throws him out of the house again. Vijay marries his childhood friend Geetanjali and the couple ends up with their family and moves to the US, where they have two children.

Eight years later, Vijay, a bearded animal, returns to India when he learns that Balbir is a victim of an attempt to murder. After meeting his father, Vijay reconciles and takes charge of his family and openly threatens to slit the throats of those involved in the attempted murder on live television. He picks up his cousin from the village for backup security and recruits a doppelganger for his father, who is eventually killed by a gangster named Israr Haq.

Vijay discovers Varun’s role in the assassination attempt and publicly kills him at a conference with his cousins, where Asrar is also present. When Vijay and his cousins meet Freddy, a weapons dealer, at a hotel, Asrar arrives with the attackers to kill Vijay. Vijay takes them all down with a machine gun, but Asrar shoots him multiple times, yet Vijay kills Asrar and threatens to destroy everyone involved, but is seriously injured and bedridden with a damaged sense of hearing.

Two weeks later, Vijay’s heart is transplanted. In Scotland, Ashar’s brother Abrar Haq receives news of Ishrar’s death during Abrar’s third marriage and kills Rasool publicly on the occasion of marriage. Abrar and his other brother Abid go to a house, where they shoot the person who sees Ishrar, revealing that Abrar was behind the murderous attack on Balbir.

Vijay recovers after several months and contacts his heart donor’s fiance Zoya. Vijay initiates an extramarital affair with Zoya, who eventually reveals that he was sent by Abrar to frame him so that one of his brothers, who was transformed into another Vijay through plastic surgery, kills his family. Vijay reveals that he already knew about her and used to play together to figure out the identity of the brain, but allows her to leave unharmed after insulting her.

Vijay learns from his grandfather Rajdhir Singh that Abrar and his siblings are Vijay’s other cousins. He is the grandson of Rajdhir’s elder brother Shamsher Singh. Rajdhir had condemned Shamsher’s immoral acts. Shamsher’s son Azeem, who had converted to Islam and married several times, was deprived of any share of Balbir’s assets, due to which Shamsher committed suicide by setting himself on fire. Abrar, who had witnessed his grandfather’s suicide, fell silent in shock. Later, Vijay reveals his relationship with Jaya to Geetanjali, who is upset, but the two put aside their differences.

Vijay and his cousin fly to Scotland and manage to stop Abrar and Abid from leaving the country by private jet. A brutal fight breaks out between Vijay and Abrar on the catwalk, where Abrar almost kills Vijay, but neutralizes him and slits his throat after Abrar refuses to target Balbir.

During Diwali, Balbir revealed that he has stage IV acute lymphoblastic leukemia with only a few months left to survive. She realises that her lack of love for her son has always been the main reason for Vijay’s aggression. Balbir finally apologizes to Vijay, who later cries bitterly with the pain of losing his father. Geetanjali leaves Vijay with her children for the US, but their son Abhay runs away to Vijay.

In the post-credit scene, Haq, a butcher in Istanbul and the youngest of the Haq brothers, is portrayed as undergoing plastic surgery to look like Vijay. Zoya and Abid are with her, and Zoya is revealed to be pregnant, though she is not sure if the baby’s father is Aziz or Vijay. After violently killing vijay’s two cousins, Aziz sets out with Abid to avenge the death of his two elder brothers.
